I am Melissa and this is my journal through the process of surrogacy.

I had a hysterectomy in April 2012 due to placental site trophoblastic tumour or cancer in the placenta.  PSTT developed during my pregnancy with my daughter Myla.

My husband, Michael and I are desperate to have another child and provide Myla with a sibling, so we have been lucky enough to find a wonderful woman who has offered to be our surrogate.

I am using this blog to keep a journal of the process, create awareness to others about the struggles families go through to have children and to provide hope and information to those considering surrogacy.
